If you're choosing to be married in Gretna you are probably looking for something that is not too fussy, something straighforward. Now you can have that and still have a wedding ceremony that has all the essential romance and which is personal to you. I am an Independent Celebrant, trained and qualified to conduct legal wedding ceremonies in Scotland. I am trained and ordained by the Interfaith Foundation as a non-denominational minister offering services to people of all faiths or none. I do not represent any particular religion, although as part of my training I have studied the major world traditions and faiths. As an independent celebrant I can conduct a ceremony that is non-religious, or one that includes as much or as little spiritual content as you want. I have a range of pre-existing service formats and I also specialise in working with you as couple - via email, phone or skype - to create a ceremony that is personal, and includes any mixture of non-religious, spiritual or religious words, music, readings and rituals. If you want to find out more, have a look at the Gretna FAQs page, or contact me to discuss your wedding ceremony. jane@yourserviceinscotland.co.uk |
